Dr Yoko Clinch BSc BVMS (Hons) MANZCVS (Veterinary Radiology, Veterinary Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation – Canine) CCRT CVA:
Yoko is the veterinarian to whom Dr Don Nickels has passed on his Lancelin Veterinary Clinic. She worked with Don for many years at the Cottesloe Animal Hospital before he retired from that position. She now works full time sharing her time between Veterinary Rehabilitation Services and Roleystone Animal Hospital in Perth, and on her days off comes up to Lancelin to continue to offer veterinary services to the communities along Indian Ocean Drive.
Yoko enjoys working with small animals (including ferrets) and has undertaken further study to become a member by examination, to the Australian & New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (ANZCVS) in Veterinary Radiology. She also became Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in 2017 and has launched Veterinary Rehabilitation Services as a result, so don’t hesitate to ask her for advice on how to keep your pet fit and comfortable. In 2020, Yoko successfully established the newest chapter then the ANZCVS in Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation and is currently the President and Science Week Convenor of this chapter. In 2022, she successfully sat the inaugural membership examination for this chapter, becoming the first veterinarian in Western Australia to have the “MANZCVS – Veterinary Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation – Canine” qualification and is passionate about continuing to advance the level of veterinary rehabilitation services available to the animals of Western Australia.
Adrian is our practice manager, IT manager, payroll manager and equipment maintenance/repair guy. He’s also a Registered Vet Nurse!! You’ll see him behind the reception desk organising the vet appointments, or out the front of the clinic talking to people about their pets and probably about fishing! Adrian and Yoko have 3 fur kids: Margot, Hugo, and Hoshiko, our kitten.
Dr Mhairi Barclay BSc BVMS:
Dr Mhairi is joining our team from November 2026. She has worked with Dr Yoko for many years at Roleystone Animal Hospital. She will be working in Lancelin on the Saturday shift. Dr Mhairi has 3 fur kids as well: Maverick, Taco and Stu, as well as a number of feathered kin!
